Meditation & Breathwork

In practice

What is meditation and breathwork at Zen Guesthouse like?

The day begins on the mat. On the open-sided rooftop pavilion, mornings open with a seated practice as the light comes up, and the rhythm of the house is set by breath rather than a schedule.

Guided meditation and mindfulness are beginner-friendly — you do not need to have sat before. Breathwork and simple pranayama are offered for a nervous-system reset: slow, deliberate, and led by people from here.

Beyond the guided sits, the house keeps screen-free quiet zones and a no-phone table, so the calm you find on the pavilion has somewhere to live for the rest of the day. Free time is the point, not the compromise.
