The guesthouse is on Calle 40 Norte, between 10th and 5th Avenue, in Colonia Luis Donaldo Colosio — a central residential neighbourhood in the greener district north of Calle 38. This part of town is quieter and more upscale than the crowded centre, with a short, walkable link toward 5th Avenue and roughly a kilometre to Paraíso beach.

A note on the neighbourhood: the upscale Calle Corazon plaza sits in the busy central zone near 5th Avenue and Calle 12 — that is a different, livelier part of town. Zen Guesthouse is in the calmer north-end-adjacent district, chosen for its stillness.

How do you get here?
Most guests arrive through Cancún International Airport, about an hour north. From Playa del Carmen itself, the guesthouse is a short ride or walk into the quiet north-end streets.
Cancún International Airport (CUN)
The nearest major airport, about 55 km north. Roughly one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes by road, depending on traffic. It is the arrival point for most international guests.
Tren Maya station, Playa del Carmen
The 1,554-km Tren Maya railway opened its Playa del Carmen station in February 2024, with the full line running since December 2024. It offers a scenic rail alternative for moving along the Yucatán Peninsula.
Central Playa del Carmen & Quinta Avenida
The guesthouse sits on Calle 40 Norte, a short walk from the Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue) pedestrian promenade and roughly one kilometre from Paraíso beach. Most of daily life here is reachable on foot.
